The ICU's medal table (2005 - 2011) gives a good cisual of the best teams  in cheerleading at an international level. the teams listed below are the teams with the 20 highest number of total medals accumulated since 2005.

Are We Growing?

When I started this blog the south African majorette and cheer council had just launched its new website.
I honestly thought that this was a sign that drummies and cheerleading was going to grow in south Africa. but right I don't know.
The website is not updated, the design is overwhelming and not in a good way. There is no details about teams that do drum majorettes and how can the sport grow when people don't know where to go. There is no information about team registration and competitions are starting in February already.
I f this sport is to grow then there is a lot that needs to be done.

The south African Drum Majorettes and Cheerleading Association website is now up and running. As a big supporter of drummies and cheerleading I hope this helps advertise the sports more.
